Mohammed bin Rashid honors Jockey Robby as Dubai World Cup champion
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and UAE Minister of Finance and Industry honoured Jockey Robby Albarado as Dubai World Cup champion at Nad Al Sheba race track yesterday in front of more than 50 thousand spectators. The American horse Curlin won the six million dollar Dubai World Race sponsored by "Emirates" in which 13 horses from UAE, KSA, USA, Japan and Brazil participated. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan handed over the Cup to the owner of the winning horse Curlin, who won US 3.6 Million. The race was attended by Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police & Public Security, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Land Department, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman of the Emirates Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prince Khalid bin Abdulla Al Saud, Prince Mitaab bin Abdulla bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Deputy Commander of National Guards and number of Sheikhs and Senior Officials.
