UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored a team of deaf students from Al Khawarizmi International College, today, who developed “No Messaging” application that disables keypads of mobile phones to prevent car drivers from using their devices for SMS texting while driving. The deaf students cooperated with the Ministry of Interior in developing this application in order to reduce traffic accidents. Using sign language, the students thanked H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and expressed happiness for receiving the Award, to which Sheikh Mohammed replied using sign language saying, “I am proud of you”.
