UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum hailed the National Law of Reading issued by the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The law is the first of its kind to put regulatory frames, executive programs and defined government responsibilities to establish the values of reading in the UAE sustainably, in an unprecedented civilized and regulatory initiative in the region.

His Highness expressed his appreciation and pride in the first reading law during a meeting in his office at Emirates Towers in the presence of a group of excellent and brilliant students in the Arab Reading Challenge in the UAE.
