  The Cabinet praised President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's decision to allocate Dh16 Billion to the development of infrastructure, cities and roads in the Northern Emirates in order to boost the economy and raise the standard of living.   The Cabinet chaired by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai in its meeting held today at the Presidential Palace affirmed that this initiative by H.H. The President expresses his concern for providing decent life and raising economic and social standards of living of all UAE citizens.   The Cabinet approved the memorandum presented by Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan concerning a potential peaceful nuclear energy program.The Cabinet ratified a new national emblem approved by the President H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Al Nahyan and instructed government entities to start using the new emblem between May 1, 2008 and December 31, 2008.
