Mohammed bin Rashid breaks ground for 700MW World biggest Concentrated Solar Power investment project

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, today, broke ground for the fourth phase of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park at a capacity of 700MW, the biggest Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) investment project in the world. This project bolsters the UAE’s global leadership in the field of clean and renewable energy.
The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a number of ministers, dignitaries and director-generals of government departments, along with experts and specialists concerned with power sector in Dubai.
