Mohammed bin Rashid avows Service Centres will stick to new Star Rating Initiative.
UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has unveiled the results of Phase I of the evaluation of 75 government services centres according to the new Star Rating Initiative. His Highness asserted that all federal government customer service centres will abide by the Star Rating Initiative. Using a rating system that grades centres on a scale of two to seven stars, the system measures performance in light of private sector service delivery standards. In order to ensure objectivity in the evaluation and rating process, external auditors are engaged and a special plate indicating the initial rating will be placed at the entrance of each federal customer service centre. For, as the customer has the right to know about the quality level of service provided at each centre, so also do the officials need to know how the quality level of their services compares to other ministries.
