UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces attended the second day of the retreat. The retreat was also attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

The two-day retreat held at Bab Al Shams Resort in Dubai was concluded in the presence of the federal government and local governments to discuss the ideas and initiatives that boost the diversification of the national economy and strike a balance between its sectors with a view to ensuring sustainability for future generations.
