UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this morning attended the “Retreat of 100 Figures” in the presence of the most influential national figures concerned with the year of reading in order to establish a general framework and discuss permanent national initiatives seeking to promote reading as a permanent community culture in the UAE. This comes following UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, announcing 2016 as the year of reading. The retreat was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
