UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the opening ceremony of the fourth edition of Knowledge Summit organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) over two days.

Shortly before the opening session, His Highness also launched the “Literacy Challenge” initiative that targets thirty million Arab youths and children until 2030 in cooperation with the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), UNESCO and United Nations Development Programme.

The session was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed along with Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a number of Ministers and Senior officials in the UAE including civilians and military men as well as experts, intellectuals and scientists from the UAE and about 130 Arab and foreign countries.
