Mohammed bin Rashid attends launch of robot school labs by Mansour bin Zayed

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the launch of “Robot Labs” in government schools initiative launched by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan at the 3rd Government Summit which ended today under the theme “Shaping Future Governments”. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed made the announcement of launching the initiative in presence of a number of education leaders and about 100 students hailing from various UAE government schools to visit the innovation pavilion, running on the sidelines of the Government Summit. They were briefed, during the visit, on the skills to handle and optimally use the robots in order to serve education, in particular and human, in general. Present during the initiative launch were Crown Prince of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Manager of Dubai Ruler’s Office Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Musabah bin Rashid Al Fattan and a number of senior officials. Among the details of the initiative, schools will be provided with robots for student’s empowerment of cognitive integration in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
