Mohammed bin Rashid attends initial tests of world's first autonomous pods

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, attended the initial tests of the world’s first autonomous pods, developed by The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), in cooperation with the American Next Future Transportation company. The project is part of RTA’s initiatives in cooperation with Dubai Future Accelerators as an application of the agreement of cooperation between the two entities.
These initial tests, implemented on the sidelines of the 6th World Government Summit in Dubai, were attended by Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
