UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the ceremony of the 40th anniversary of Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) as the first Islamic bank in the world. The ceremony, which was held at Dubai World Trade Centre, yesterday evening, was attended by leaders, banking and financing figures, and government officials, led by Deputy Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of Dubai International Financial Centre Board and Deputy Chairman of the Higher Board of Dubai International Financial Centre H.E. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, Former DIB Chairman H.E. Saeed Ahmed Lootah and Director General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department H.E. Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman.
