Mohammed bin Rashid attendes the Royal Ascot race

  H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai attended the Royal Ascot race meeting, today.   Sheikh Mohammed met with Queen Elizabeth II of Britain and members of the royal family. Queen Elizabeth said the UAE horses contributed to the success of the race and lauded success achieved in the past and still remembered by the public.   She praised the progressive ties between the UAE and the UK. The race meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and UAE Minister of Finance, H.H. Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture & Heritage Foundation and Princess Haya bint Al Hussein, wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.   The race was attended also by number of high ranking officials, owners and huge public of horses' lovers in the UK. The "Royal Ascot" is considered the most prominent race in the British races calendar with special British media interest, and attended by senior officials from various countries around the world, along with celebrities and stars from various fields.   During the past years UAE horses had achieved remarkable achievements still lingering in the minds of the public, achieved by horses "Dubai Millennium", "Grandin", "Fantastic Life", "Entikhab", "Nayef" and "Ramontmar."
