Mohammed bin Rashid Approves Happiness Meter and Honors Leading Government Bodies

UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved the results of the smart happiness meter launched by His Highness a year ago. The Meter indicated eighty-nine per cent of the public were satisfied with government services in Dubai, according to the meter which polled more than two million customers during the last nine months at 38 government departments. During the meeting, His Highness instructed to introduce the Happiness Meter services in the private sector as well.

During the meeting held this evening at Dubai Executive Office, His Highness honored Dubai Customs, which emerged the best government department in terms of customer happiness. Sheikh Mohammed also noted that customers of the Roads and Transport Authority accounted for the majority of those polled in the Happiness Meter, the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority as the first institution to adopt the Happiness Meter, and the Knowledge and Human Development Authority characterized by the application of the most comprehensive program of Happiness Meter in Dubai.
