Mohammed bin Rashid announces spending on humanitarian initiatives
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, presided over the meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives, the largest Arab and regional institution, which includes 33 humanitarian, community, knowledge, development and cultural institutions. His Highness announced that the total expenditure of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's Global Initiatives reached 1.8 billion dirhams on all humanitarian, community and development initiatives and programs, including more than 69 million people in 68 countries.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation, a number of Sheikhs and ministers and more than 550 employees attended the ceremony.
