Mohammed bin Rashid announces AED 14.7 bn. as a support package to Egypt in Sharm el-Sheikh Summit

During his participation in Egypt's Economic Development Conference in Sharm el-Sheikh, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai announced that the UAE aids to Egypt amounted to more than AED 51 bn. during the past two years, which included vital areas such as education, training, housing, transportation, health care, food security and energy, according to a model of transparency, unique cooperation and cooperation between Egypt and the UAE. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also announced a new support package worth AED 14.7 bn. during the coming period to the Egyptian people and consists of two batches; the first is AED 7.35 bn. as a deposit at the central bank and the second also of AED 7.35 bn. for various projects in several sectors to be announced later. During his speech at the Economic Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh in which 89 international delegations are participating, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State "may God protect him", and his wishes for the Arab Republic of Egypt leadership, government and people for continued development, progress and prosperity.
