UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan led the national procession, this afternoon, marking the start of the 3rd “Qasr Al Hosn Festival” in Abu Dhabi, which will last till 21st February at Qasr Al Hosn in Abu Dhabi. The procession and Qasr Al Hosn Festival were also attended by Crown Prince of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Ajman H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region H.H. Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, H.H. Sheikh Surour bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler’s Representative H.H. Sheikh Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Transport Department and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan. At the new version of “Qasr Al Hosn Festival” H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the attendants were briefed on the events and cultural, heritage and social activities which were distributed at different venues of the Festival, reflecting the various environments of the UAE society and lifestyles in ancient times at land, sea and oasis. They also reviewed restoration plans for Abu Dhabi Cultural Foundation which acts as a lighthouse for civilization, knowledge and science which embedded Abu Dhabi, the Capital, in the Arab culture map.
