Mohammed bin Rashid and Chinese Premier sign a statement of strategic partnership

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the visiting Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and his accompanying delegation at Zaabeel Palace today. Sheikh Mohammed also witnessed the signing of several agreements and Memorandums of Understanding between the two countries. Sheikh Mohammed showed his guest the model of the Dh2-billion Phoenix project which is being implemented by the Dubai-based Meraas Holding in partnership with a Chinese Company. Present at the meeting and the agreements signing ceremony were Dubai Deputy Ruler HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.
