Mohammed bin Rashid and Brazilian Vice-President attend inking of military cooperation agreement
UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with the Vice-President of Brazil Mr. Michel Temer at the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brasilia this evening. During the meeting, which was attended by the UAE Foreign Minister HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed and his Brazilian counterpart exchanged views on means to strengthen cooperative ties between the two countries, especially in the areas of investment, tourism, culture and other key sectors that contribute to narrowing distances between the two friendly peoples. Sheikh Mohammed and Mr. Temer also witnessed a ceremony for signing a joint military cooperation agreement, under which the UAE and Brazil will exchange expertise and training, along with activities related to military cooperation. HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed signed the agreement on behalf of the UAE, while Brazil's Defense Minister Celso Amorim signed for his country.
