His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, launched the Waldorf Astoria - Dubai Palm Jumeriah; built on a 550,000 square foot area in in the Eastern Crescent of Jumeirah Palm. Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. After the inauguration of the luxury hotel- the latest in Al Habtoor Group’s portfolio- and the unveiling of its commemorative plaque, Sheikh Mohamed observed a number of the hotel’s service and recreational facilities. From his sea-view fifth floor balcony, His Highness expressed his admiration of the magnificent, expansive view of Jumeirah Palm. The Dubai Palm Jumeirah has become a world-class hotel complex, and Sheikh Mohamed congratulated Khalaf Al Habtoor on this remarkable national, touristic, and civil achievement.
