UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with a delegation of key figures in Arab and international media institutions from 36 countries. The delegation is currently visiting the country to mark the celebration of the 42nd National Day of the United Arab Emirates. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed addressed a number of important topics, the most significant of which was the Union Day and its importance for the people of the UAE. He also discussed UAE’s winning bid to host the World Expo 2020, and the positive and far-reaching implications of this accomplishment upon the region and the world. The meeting took place today at the Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa, and was attended by local media leaders, in the presence of the Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the UAE Foreign Minister and Chairman of the National Media Council Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
