Mohammad Bin Rashid witnesses the signing of a number of commercial and investment agreements
His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai witnessed, on the third day of his visit, the signing of a number of commercial and investment agreements, paving way for new openings between UAE and China. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized on great and new opportunities available for cementing friendship, cooperation and building strategic partnership between both nations, also learning from each others expertise by utilizing all means and capabilities available with each.Sheikh Mohammed attended UAE-Chinese Economic Forum at Shanghai. He also witnessed the signing of a number of commercial and investment cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding between a number of companies in the private sector from both countries, particularly in the real estate field. Sheikh Mohammed visited an exhibition of the New Shanghai model. He also saw a huge model of the whole city and was briefed on the most important construction and development projects to be implemented until 2020 as part of the plan to upgrade the city's infrastructure. Sheikh Mohammad viewed the expansion and modernization plans of the Shanghai International Port, and a model of Shanghai Airport when it was first established in 1922 and another model of the new airport which will be complete by 2015. Sheikh Mohammad was received by Han Zheng, Mayor of Shanghai, who described Shanghai as Dubai's counterpart in development.
