Mohammad bin Rashid Launches the Executive Phases of “Khalifa Sat”

His Highness UAE Vice President Sheikh Mohammad bin Rashed Al-Maktoum launched the executive phases of Khalifa Sat today. Khalifa Sat is the first Arab-manufactured satellite to be entirely built and manufactured in the UAE by 100% Emirati workers, and will be placed in orbit by 2017. Sheikh Mohammad stressed that due to the vast and unlimited nature of the UAE’s national aspirations, the confidence in the sons and daughters of the UAE is infinite, and God will support their efforts.
