Mohamed Bin Rashid Launches Strategy to Transform Dubai Into a Smart City

A strategy to transform Dubai into a smart city was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid AL-Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. He was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the General Supervisor of the Dubai Smart City Project, and HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohamed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. The project includes six important themes and 100 initiatives in transport, infrastructure, electricity, economic services, and urban planning, as well as the transformation of 1,000 governmental services into smart services over the coming three years.
