Maktoum bin Mohammed receives General Electric Chairman and CEO
Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum today received Mr. Jeffrey Immelt Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of General Electric International headquartered in Connecticut in the USA.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum and Immelt discussed a number of media, economic and informatics issues and the role of technology modern means to revive and develop the digital economy at the regional and international levels
They reviewed the co-operation aspects between General Electric and the competent authorities in the UAE in general and in Dubai in particular. In addition to the logistic facilities offered by the UAE to the company to help the company expand its activities at the regional level through its UAE offices employing about 1,000 employees.
