Maktoum bin Mohammed opens MENA Transport Congress in Dubai
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council, HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and First Vice Chairman of The Executive Council, has opened the 3rd UITP MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition 2018. The event is organised by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai under the theme Pioneering for Customers Happiness. Attending the opening event were several directors of government departments.
His highness honored the winners of the 2nd Transport Hackathon amongst university and college students. Also after the honoring the winners, His Highness opened the exhibition held along with the MENA Transport Congress. The Exhibition, which spans an area of 2800 square meters, has attracted the participation of exhibitors hailing from 17 countries to showcase the latest technologies and trends in the transportation industry.
