Maktoum bin Mohammed opens ITU Telecom World conference

Dubai Deputy Ruler HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened at Dubai World Trade Center the 12th ITU Telecom World conference which is held for the first time in the Arab region. The opening ceremony of the October 14-18 event was attended by Dr Hamadoun Toure, Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and a number of senior officials.
