Maktoum bin Mohammed honours the winners of Zayed International Prize
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai honoured the winners of Zayed International Prize for the Environment which carries total prize money of $1m in a ceremony to be held at Jumierah Beach Hotel Dubai. Founded in 1999 by H. H. Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Zayed International Prize for the Environment recognizes and encourages environmental achievements supporting and promoting the implementation of Agenda 21, Millennium Development Goals and the Johannesburg Plan for Implementation of Sustainable Development, in line with the vision and philosophy of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
