Under the patronage of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum attended the closing ceremony of the 17th session of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where contestants and the top 10 winners were honored in the presence of the Islamic Personality of the Year Dr. Zakir Naik. Present at the ceremony were the HE President of the Federal National Council and Director General of the Dubai Department of Information HH Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, along with a number of sheikhs, top officials, heads of local departments, and members of the consular corps. During the ceremony, HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed honored contestants and the top 10 winners along with members of the DIHQA jury.
