Maktoum bin Mohammed honors winners of Rashid Award

Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the annual ceremony to honor the winners of the Rashid Award for Academic Excellence organized by the Cultural and Scientific Association in Dubai today. A total of 139 UAE citizens who obtained doctorate degrees in various disciplines received the prizes at the ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the Association and held under the patronage of UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Sheikh Maktoum inaugurated an exhibition featuring 60 pictures reflecting the history of the Association and opened another exhibition on Arabic calligraphy.
