Maktoum bin Mohammed honors winners of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award
Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored winners of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Water Award as part of its 1st edition with a value amounting to one million American dollars launched by UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to encourage research organizations, individuals and inventors from all over the world to find sustainable and innovative solutions to solve the problem of lack of clean water in the world by using solar energy.
The honoring comprised 10 winners from 8 countries: UAE, Qatar, Canada, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, Finland and Greece as part of the award supervised by UAE Water Aid under the umbrella of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.
