Maktoum bin Mohammed attends signing of Co-operative Agreement between “Dubai Innovation” and “MasterCard”
Deputy Ruler of Dubai H.H Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with the Chairman of MasterCard Board of Directors Mr. Richard Haythornthwaite and his board of directors at Royal Mirage Hotel in Dubai. They discussed the company’s latest activities and initiatives in various domains. Further, they discussed ways of promoting cooperation between the public and private sectors, with a view to support economic development. Further, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed attended the signing of the Co-operative Agreement between Dubai Innovation Strategy and MasterCard. This Agreement forms part of Dubai Innovation Partners’ initiative recently announced by the Crown Prince of Dubai H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Thus, MasterCard is considered to be the first international corporation co-opted to support Dubai Innovation Strategy through its expertise and projects.
