Dubai Deputy Ruler and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened the 37th Interferry Conference & Exhibition; a top specialized water transport conference held for the first time in the Middle East, and will continue till Wednesday with the participation of 350 exhibitors. Upon arrival at the event's venue at Grand Hyatt Hotel, HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed was received by Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of the Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) Mattar Al Tayer, the Representative of the UN International Maritime Organization, , Chairman of Interferry. The opening ceremony was also attended by Dubai Prosecutor General Eisam Al Humaian, Secretary General of Dubai Executive Council Abdullah Al Shebani, Director of Dubai Courts Dr. Ahmed bin Hazim, Director General of the General Directorate for Residency and Foreigners Affairs Maj. General Mohammed Ahmed Al Merri, Deputy Chief of Dubai Police Maj. General Khamis Mattar Al Mezaina and a number of senior government officials.
