  H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai attended graduation ceremony of the first batch of the Institute of Applied Technology in Dubai, which was held at the theater of culture and science symposium in the presence of the President of the Board of Trustees of the Institute, Director of the Institute branches of the Emirates, a number of UAE educational leading personalities and parents of the students, who number about 227 students have completed secondary school in the technical study, which qualifies them for admission to universities and technical colleges within and outside the UAE.   In the branches of Applied Technology Institute in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Ain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah more than one thousand two hundred students receiving secondary vocational and technical education within the highest international technical standards and curricula.
