Maktoum bin Mohamed inaugurates Doha Bank

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated Doha Bank branch at Sheikh Zayed Road as first branch for the bank in the UAE. Sheikh Maktoum accompanied by H.E. Dr. Omer bin Sulaiman, Governor of DIFC were recived by Sheikh Fahad Al Thani, Chairman of Board of Directors, Sheikh Abdul Rehman Al Thani, Board Member, Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Muala, Director of Umm Al Quwain Land Department, Mr. Qasim Abbas, Regional Director UAE, H.E. Abdullah Mohammed Al Othman, Ambassador of Qatar in the UAE, H.E. Abdullah Salim Al Teraifi, Executive Chairman of Financial Securities and Commodities Authority and umber of bank officials. After a short rest at the ceremony tent, Sheikh Maktoum cut the ribbon officially opening the bank and toured different department of the bank and briefed about e-services and facilities provided to customers. Sheikh Maktoum welcomed the selection of Dubai as destination for first branch of the bank in the UAE and emphasized on financial laws and Government facilities for attracting regional and international banks to the UAE, which became attraction point for financial and banking investors who enjoy all facilities and fixable laws protecting capitals and providing safe cover for all investors, whether individuals or companies.
