Hamdan bin Rashid witnesses the signature of two agreements between "Hamdan Award for Distinguished Academic Performance Award" and UNESCO

On the margin of the Congress, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance witnessed the signing of two agreements between Hamdan Award for Distinguished Academic Performance Award and UNESCO by H.E. Hussein bin Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education, and Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO. The first agreement is for the restoration and rejuvenation of Hall 1 in the UNESCO headquarters in the French capital city by the Award. Under the second agreement, the diploma program will be launched with the aim to reforming and upgrading curricula in the Arab countries.
He also delivered a speech in the Congress of United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) held at the organization's headquarters in Paris. He conveyed the greetings of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and H.H. members of the Supreme Council of the Union to the Congress and their hopes of success in improving education in underprivileged and poor regions all over the world, particularly the third world.
