Hamdan bin Rashid witnesses the renewal of partnership between the UAE and the Islamic Development Bank

Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum headed the UAE delegation to the Islamic Development Bank Annual governor meeting that ended today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. At the meeting, a partnership renewal agreement was signed between the UAE and the Islamic Development Bank based in Jeddah. The agreement concerned the use of bio-saline land cultivation, especially in countries with low rainfall. Dr. Rashid Ahmad Bin Fahd, Minister of Environment and Water, who was representing the Dubai based International Centre for Bio-Saline Agriculture, signed the five-year agreement with Dr. Ahmad Mohamad Ali Al Madani, President of the Islamic Development Bank.
