Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, received a delegation from the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Marine Club and the Supreme Organising Committee of the 27th Al Gaffal Race for traditional 60-foot sailing dhows, which was successfully organised by the club recently, starting from Sir Abu Nu’ayr Island in the Arabian Gulf to Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach..
Sheikh Hamdan received a special shield from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Club on behalf of the Club and the participants of the event, as an appreciation for his constant and continuous support for this great heritage event, which has become a popular carnival and an unmatched social event in the region.
