Hamdan bin Rashid opens DEWA’s Sustainable Building in Al Quz

Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and President of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened today DEWA’s new Sustainable Building in Al Quoz, the first sustainable government building in the UAE, coming within Dubai’s plan for green buildings. The premises is now the largest government building in the world with a Platinum rating for green buildings from Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), the US Green Building Council institute.
