Hamdan bin Rashid inaugurates UNESCO conference hall in Paris
Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, today, inaugurated the conference hall of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization “UNESCO” at its headquarters in Paris.
His Highness gave his inaugural speech in the launch of the 39th session of the General Conference of UNESCO, in the presence of Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, and representatives of its member countries.
His Highness attended, as well, the signature of an agreement of cooperation and partnership between UNESCO and the Hamdan Fund to support the UNESCO. His Highness was accompanied by a prominent delegation alongside chairmen and directors of associated governmental entities, in addition to the educational leaderships of the UAE.
