Hamdan bin Rashid inaugurates the “M Station” of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority in Jebel Ali

The Deputy Ruler of Dubai; UAE Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Electricity, and the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) inaugurated the Authority’s “M Station” in Jebel Ali today to generate electricity and supply desalinated water. Accompanied by UAE ministers and top government officials; Sheikh Hamdan made a tour in the plant; visiting the various departments. The plant is considered the UAE’s largest power generation and water desalination plant. It generates 2,060 MW of electricity and 140 million imperial gallons of desalinated water per day. It was established according to the latest and most advanced power generation and water desalination technologies in the world.
