Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, opened the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2014 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre this morning. The four-day event provides a unrivalled platform for a large number of leading physicians, healthcare specialists, and medical companies from the Middle East and throughout the world. In a statement that followed His Highness’ exhibition tour, Sheikh Hamdan affirmed that UAE’s model for safety and stability made it a focal point for investors as well as companies showcasing their products in different sectors, including the medical one. He further noted that this year’s Arab Health Congress witnessed a 15% increase in exhibitors. Moreover, the total number of exhibitors in the 39th edition of this world event reached 3,900 companies from 64 countries, and 38 national pavilions showcasing their different medical products and services.
