Hamdan bin Rashid honors the winners of Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Excellence and launches ISESCO Award for educational volunteering
Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched ISESCO Award for volunteering in educational facilities in the Islamic countries, with a value of 300 thousand dollars.
This event took place on the sidelines of the honoring ceremony held to celebrate the winners of the competition of the Award in its 19th edition, where 137 winners are honoured, 3 of them are from the people with disabilities and two of them are from education-supportive organizations and they are the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority for The Centre of Digital Innovation and Ajman Police General Headquarters for the “Future Police” initiative. Moreover, 3 initiatives won the Educational Entrepreneur Award launched by the Award this year, in response to the directions of the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan by declaring 2017 the Year of Giving.
