Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum reached Paris today leading a UAE delegation to the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and met with Director General of UNESCO Irena Bokova,. During the visit, two agreements will be signed with UNESCO by Al Maktoum Charity Foundation and the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Distinguished Academic Performance. Sheikh Hamdan is accompanied by Speaker of the Federal National Council Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Minister of Social Affairs Maryam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Education  Humaid Mohammed Obeid Al Qattami, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Oweis, Minister of Environment and Water Dr. Rashid Ahmed bin Fahd Mohammad Obaid Al Qutami, UAE ambassador to France Mohammed Meer Abdullah, Chairman of Al Maktoum Charity Foundation Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, a number of economic personalities, Chairmen of local government departments, Directors of UAE universities and members of the Board of Trustees of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Award.
