Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum attends Mass Wedding of “DEWA” Employees

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) hosted its 8th mass wedding, known as “Anwar Dubai” for its employees, under the patronage and in the presence of Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of DEWA H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The move is part of DEWA’s commitment to support its employees by ensuring them the psychological, family and social stability. During the ceremony, 37 couples were married in a joyous and happy atmosphere at Zabeel Park in Dubai. H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was received by DEWA’s Chairman, Board members, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA H.E. Saeed Mohammed AL Tayer. The mass wedding ceremony was also attended by Chairman of DEWA H.E. Mattar Humaid Al Tayer, H.E. Saeed Al Kindi, H.E. Mohammed Khalifa Al Habtoor, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence Lt. General Mohammed Abdul Rahim Al Ali, H.E. Majid Hamad Al Shamsi, H.E. Hilal Khalfan Bin Dhaher, H.E. Qassim Sultan, Director-General of Dubai Health Authority H.E. Essa Al Maidoor, Managing Director of Emaar Properties H.E. Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Chairman of the Supervisory Bureau for Electricity & Water in Dubai H.E. Ali bin Abdullah Al Owais, CEO of Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) H.E. Ahmad bin Shafar, Salem Almoosa, and DEWA senior officials and employees, and a large number of the couples’ family.
