Hamdan bin Mohammed witnesses the signing of the construction agreement of the 1st environmental satellite

Crown Prince Of Dubai, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Dubai Future Foundation and President of Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, witnessed today the signing of the agreement of the design and manufacture of the first environmental nanometric satellite DM SAT1 in the region by Dubai municipality and Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, as part of the Dubai Future Accelerators Program. The new satellite aims at observing, collecting and analyzing the environmental data by using space technology and utilizing it in finding solutions to the challenges imposed by city pollution and climate change.
