Following a series of sweeping victories by Al Asifa Camels on the final day of the 2014 Heritage Festival in Al Marmoum, Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was awarded the Emirates Golden Sword. His Highness’s Al Asifa Camels captured the Golden Sword and Dagger trophies, having taken the lead for three rounds with the camels Saba, Dari, and Mukhifa. The Crown Prince of Dubai received the First Golden Sword and HH Sheikh Saeed Maktoum Al Maktoum received the Second Golden Sword that went to Al Asifa Camels. HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum was awarded the Golden Dagger. The flawless victory of Al Asifa Camels was met with the resounding cheers by camel race enthusiasts in attendance at the track, as well as Al Asifa fans.
