Hamdan bin Mohammed receives first Emirati astronauts

Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received today at his office in Emirates Towers in Dubai, the first Emirati astronauts Hazza Al Mansouri and Sultan Al Neyadi.
His Highness highlighted the importance of the mission and that the two astronauts – as the first two UAE citizens to travel to the International Space Station – are tasked with conducting a number of tests; an important step for future projects that the UAE aims to undertake.
