Hamdan bin Mohammed opens Crime Prevention International Conference

Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum today inaugurated the Crime Prevention International Conference. The conference is being held from 9-10 December 2019 in Dubai.
The two-day conference, organised by Dubai Police in collaboration with Great Minds Event Management, brings together delegates representing Interpol, Europol, International Association of Chiefs of Police, and more than 25 international police agencies. Fifty keynote speakers representing 45 countries will discuss key topics that help promote the future of community law enforcement, and exchange expertise and best practices in the domain of Crime Prevention.
Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri said the continuous support extended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed to Dubai Police helped the organisation develop its security system and capabilities as well as enhance its participation in various international events. He said the Crime Prevention International Conference will help promote collaboration between local, regional, and international law enforcement entities in the areas of exchanging information and data, extraditing criminals, providing effective channels of communication, consolidating efforts to improve land, maritime and air border security, and adapting technology and artificial intelligence to implement deterrence and proactive measures against criminals.
