Hamdan bin Mohammed opens 36th GITEX
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, opened the 36th version of Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness started his tour at the five-day event hosted by Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) at Zabeel Palace by visiting the pavilion of Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat). He also visited the "Innovation" Hall, which encompasses sixty countries with their smart initiatives and innovations offered for the first time at GITEX. The tour at the event encompassing more than 4000 exhibitors from more than sixty countries worldwide included a visit to the pavilion of Saudi Arabia and the companies under its umbrella, which take part in the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
